The word “commencement” is often used to describe what marks the end of our high school or college years, but, by definition, it is not an end, but a beginning.
This Sunday is “Step-Up Day” at White Pine, and we are excited to celebrate the graduation of our students. But it also the first day of the rest of your life, whatever your age. And there is no better commencement address than Psalm 1. It is brief, inspiring and unforgettable. If you study it with us, I promise you will walk away with a very clear picture of two different destinies: one that will be yours if you ignore this psalm, another that awaits you if you embrace it.
